I also have an upgrade to an old EMC Clarrion to do. I found this useful Website from EMC which allows you to check the compatibility of all your SAN components with the new Flare version:

The device is old and hasn’t been patched once since leaving the factory, think I better start carrying my lucky rabbit foot round for this one.
